What are Meeting Recordings?

Connect an AI notetaker like Fellow and Clarky automatically captures every finished meeting recording. Each recording is matched to the calendar booking it belongs to, linked to your CRM contacts by attendee email, and available inside Clarky with the AI-generated notes and the full transcript. You can also ask Clarky questions about any meeting and get answers straight from the transcript.
Plan availability: Available on all plans. See Plans & Billing.
Clarky does not join or record your calls itself. Your notetaker app records the meeting and generates the notes; Clarky syncs the finished result and puts it to work across your calendar and CRM. A notetaker account (such as Fellow) is required.

Connect Your Notetaker

1

Open Meeting Recordings settings

Go to Settings > Meeting Recordings in your workspace.
2

Copy your webhook URL

Clarky shows a unique webhook URL for your workspace. Copy it.
3

Add the webhook in Fellow

In Fellow, open User settings > API, MCP & Webhooks > Webhooks, add a webhook pointing at the URL, and subscribe it to the AI Note Generated event.
4

Save the signing secret

Copy the signing secret Fellow gives you (it starts with whsec_) into the Signing secret field in Clarky and save. The connection is now live.
Recordings arrive when your notetaker finishes processing a meeting, usually a few minutes after the call ends.

What Happens After a Meeting

When your notetaker finishes a meeting, Clarky automatically:
  1. Stores the recording with its notes, transcript, attendees, and a link back to the notetaker.
  2. Matches it to the booking it belongs to, using the attendee emails and the meeting time.
  3. Links matched attendees to your CRM, adding a meeting activity to each matching contact and company timeline.
  4. Notifies your team (notification preferences are configurable per user under Notifications).

Recordings on Your Calendar

  • In the week and month views, bookings that have a recording show a small video icon on the event.
  • In the list view, those bookings show a Recording label.
  • Opening a booking shows a Recording section with two links: View notes & transcript (opens the recording inside Clarky) and Open in Fellow (jumps to the notetaker’s recap page).

The Recordings Screen

Find every recording under Calendar > Recordings. The list shows when each meeting happened, how long it ran, who attended, and which booking and CRM contacts it matched. Click any recording to open it:
  • Notes tab: the AI-generated summary, action items, and decisions from your notetaker.
  • Transcript tab: the full conversation, grouped by speaker.
  • Ask about this meeting: a chat panel that answers questions using only the notes and transcript. Try “What were the action items?”, “Summarize the key decisions”, or “What objections came up?”
Meeting activities are also searchable from Ask Clarky, so you can ask things like “when did we last meet with Acme?” from anywhere.
